Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) has unveiled its Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC), which offers a high-spec, fully-serviced production base for advanced manufacturing and provides a foundation for Hong Kong’s mission to reindustrialise and achieve technology-driven growth.
HKSTP has witnessed the continuous growth of Hong Kong’s I&T ecosystem in recent years. It has nurtured 3 unicorns, which completed listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange last December. HKSTP is now home to over 1,000 tech ventures and a total of 11,000 research professionals, maintaining an overall occupancy rate of 88%. In addition, the HKSTP Venture Fund continues to grow, with over HK$600 million in assets under management to support different stages of the start-up growth journey.
The Fund has invested in 23 tech ventures to date with every HK$1 invested by HKSTP attracting HK$16 in external investment. Over the past four years, HKSTP’s park companies have raised over HK$68 billion from 220 investment cases, which is a testament to the strength and quality of the companies in the ecosystem.

With the application of advanced manufacturing and testing processes, AMC is embarking on technological innovation, high value-added and low volume but highly customised production, while also providing comprehensive services for logistics, warehousing, cleanroom-enabled space, prototyping, as well as “ProShop” with low-volume assembly and production, helping Innofacturers quickly turn their innovative ideas into quality products.
The Chairman of HKSTP said that the Park is committed to bolstering the development of the entire I&T ecosystem from research to industry. We have re-positioned the three industrial estates in Tai Po, Tseung Kwan O and Yuen Long as INNOPARKs, and will continue to collaborate extensively with stakeholders from government, industry, academic and research sectors to capitalise on the abundant opportunities arising from the National 14th Five-Year Plan.
