Sydney will welcome The Duke of York to New South Wales later this year as part of the Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 programme, according to a recent report.
HRH founded the Pitch@Palace in 2014. It is a platform that amplifies and accelerates the work of Entrepreneurs.
It guides, helps and connects Entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with a global network of potential supporters including CEOs, Influencers, Angels, Investors, Mentors and Business Partners.
The programme is a very effective way to give Australian innovators the opportunity to get on the global stage.
Pitch@Palace Australia On Tour events will provide entrepreneurs from across the country with the opportunity to learn about the programme, connect to local stakeholders and receive mentoring to develop their business.
Applications are now open to Entrepreneurs who have identified opportunities across a broad range of technologies, from Biotech and Cyber Security to Robotics and Smart Cities.
Anyone who has a business to apply is encouraged to do so in order to see where the journey will take them.
Entrepreneurs can apply online to take part in one of the five Pitch@Palace Australia On Tour events taking place in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and the Gold Coast.
Pitch@Palace Australia On Tour Sydney will be hosted by the University of Wollongong and Macquarie University and will take place on 19 November 2018.
Pitch@Palace Australia On Tour Melbourne will be hosted by RMIT University and will take place on 20 November 2018.
Pitch@Palace Australia On Tour Perth will be hosted by Murdoch University and will take place on 23 November 2018.

Eight Entrepreneurs from each of the events will be selected to take part in Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 Boot Camp in Brisbane on 28 November 2018.
The boot camp will give them opportunity to hear from leading industry experts as well as alumni of the programme.
All the selected participants are asked to Pitch to a Panel of Judges, who will select 12 Entrepreneurs to pitch for three minutes at the main event. All other Entrepreneurs will be invited to pitch for 30 seconds.
All the Entrepreneurs will be given the opportunity to network at the main event.
The main event, Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 will also take place in Brisbane on 30 November 2018.
The Entrepreneurs will pitch to an invited audience of investors, mentors and business executives. The winners will be chosen through an audience vote.
All the Entrepreneurs will also compete in the public vote, the Pitch@Palace Australia People’s Choice Award.
An invitation to the Pitch@Palace Global 3.0, which will take place at St. James’s Palace in London in December, will be given to the winners in Australia 2.0.
While there, they will have the opportunity to network with potential investors and influential members of the international business community.
