The Academy, renowned for its dedication to fostering I&T talent, will spearhead a series of TechEd training programmes tailored for students and educators alike in the GBA. With the guidance of HKPC experts, these initiatives will delve into various technological domains such as aerospace technology, robotics, 3D printing, programming, and virtual reality (VR) technology. Furthermore, educators will be introduced to innovative educational technologies (EdTech) aimed at enhancing digital literacy and elevating the quality of education delivery within the region.

The Chief Innovation Officer of HKPC stated the importance of talent cultivation in driving I&T development. He emphasised HKPC’s commitment to collaborating with educational institutions and industry stakeholders to provide diverse TechEd programmes aimed at nurturing the next generation of I&T talent. He believes that through this alliance, ZWIE and HKPC will play a pivotal role in fostering innovation and practical talent in the GBA, poised to meet the challenges of the new era.

In addition to technological education, the collaboration between HKPC and ZWIE recognises the importance of integrating art into STEAM education. By incorporating various activities and workshops focused on Chinese culture and traditional arts, the partnership aims to nurture students’ comprehensive abilities and deepen their understanding of the nation’s rich historical heritage. This holistic approach not only broadens horizons but also contributes to the nation’s development by fostering a well-rounded generation of individuals equipped to tackle the challenges of tomorrow’s world.
